A fun and exciting learning environment for neurodiverse family members to have interaction with a sensory space and get education and training
NeuroPower is a space for you to come and explore what it takes to succeed and thrive in a world where you have a neurodiverse perspective. We are excited to have our doors open to you as you explore things:
- Discovery– Where kids and adults alike can come and understand themselves and what makes them tick
- Information and Education– Accessing information and educational sources that will give them great tricks and tips to enable them to be successful at school and in the workforce.
- Choose your own Adventure– This is a fun area where customers can race to get through the adventure, picking their own ending and doing the challenges along the way. This is like the old choose your own adventure books from your childhood, mixed with an escape room competitive vibe.
- Sensory Space– A space for the kids to understand their sensory side, engage with objects and interactive devices that will stimulate an understanding of the world around them.
- Audio Space– This space is aimed at the audio senses and people can play with DJ equipment, drums and other music focused activities
- Podcast Room– We are wanting to publish the voices of the community in New Zealand and each week, will be publishing an hour podcast of the best bits from the week’s audience who will be recording topics chosen for the week. We will be focusing on questions and topics that will lend a voice to understanding and advocating for this community while raising awareness at the same time.
- Fun Zone– What is a destination space without having a fun area that families can let their hair down, have fun and really enjoy themselves, without having too many stimuli to overwhelm them.
- Workshop space– There is also a workshop space which will house our school group education sessions as well as our online and workshops for adults, parents and children.
